The nerfs are in.  Yeah it was easy-mode, but in the end it's still current content and a nice feeling to get an opportunity to clear through it at the intended level.  Looking forward to a few more weeks of op raiding.

The ZA bear group has recently acquired their "last" mount, one for each original member, plus a few more that went to helpful "subs".  Thanks to everyone who stuck it out through the wipes and learning to make this possible!

Illidari Stormrage down! - Video

The Black Temple is cleared.  It wasn't so long ago that ever reaching this point was far from certain.  It's only been a fantastic experience so far.  Thanks everyone for doing your homework and showing up with a positive attitude.  Only six bosses left now!

Illidari Council down! - Video

The four Twin Emp wannabes bit the dust about 2 hours of pulls.  Interesting how the next to last encounter in the next to last raid instance in TBC happens to be quite similar to the equivalent encounter in classic WoW raid progression.  Beating the Twin Emperors was the farthest Elysium had the chance to progress before expansion-itis set in at the end of 06.  Things are looking better this time around!

The Council kill was followed by a 6th Archimonde kill.  This adds up to 5/5 and 8/9 in 13 hours of raiding, including two first kills.  Definitely one of our most productive weeks yet.

Sulfuras!

Today a few Elysium members went for a nostalgic stroll through MC to complete old quests and Rag was kind enough to drop an Eye.  Conveniently Druener happened to have the epic hammer handy.  This is Elysium's first-ever legendary.  Better late than never.

Void Reaver / Lurker down (again)!

After about three months of restructuring, recruiting and heavy troop morale maintenance, Elysium v2.0 is finally raiding again.  With a group makeup and gear that many would have considered suboptimal, Lurker and VR went down for the first time again this week and there was even time left to squeeze a Gruul and Mag clear within our two-nights raid schedule.

Thanks to all the new recruits for the outstanding efforts in preparing for these new fights, and many thanks to all the older members who were able to help out during the difficult last couple of months!
